Presenting Frappe Copilot at Frappeverse 2026

I had the opportunity to present Frappe Copilot at Frappeverse 2026 — an exciting experience sharing something we’ve been building at Invento Software Limited with the Frappe community.

The Idea

Frappe Copilot started with a simple question: what if AI understood not just your code, but your Frappe development environment too? We’re building it as an AI pair-engineer for Frappe & ERPNext, working directly inside VS Code.

What It Can Do

• ✓ Explore DocTypes and databases
• ✓ Execute Bench commands
• ✓ Generate and customize Frappe components
• ✓ Work with MCP tools
• ✓ Handle multi-step development tasks through AI agents

The Experience

What made this moment special wasn’t only demonstrating the technology — it was standing at Frappeverse, presenting our work, and discussing where AI-assisted Frappe development could go next. There’s still a lot we want to improve and experiment with, and we’d love for the community to try it, contribute, share ideas, and help shape where it goes next.
